Tune-Ups in Las Vegas
A tune-up gets your engine running smoothly and efficiently again. What it involves depends on your vehicle and its mileage, so we start by checking what your engine actually needs.

The service
What a tune-up covers
Modern tune-ups focus on the parts that wear out over time and affect how the engine runs: ignition parts, filters and the checks that catch small problems before they grow.
When to come in
Signs it may be time
- A rough idle, or hesitation when you accelerate
- Harder starts than usual
- Lower fuel economy
- The engine feels sluggish
- You're past the service interval in your owner's manual
Our checks
What we check
- Spark plugs, and ignition coils or wires
- Air and fuel filters
- Belts, hoses and fluid levels
- Stored engine codes that could point to a bigger issue
Process
How a visit works
- 1
Book a time. Call (702) 737-8381. Appointments are recommended.
- 2
Tell us what you've noticed. The more detail, the faster we get to the cause.
- 3
We inspect and explain. You'll hear what we found, what it means and what it will take.
- 4
You approve the work. Nothing gets repaired until you say yes.
- 5
We finish and walk you through it. You'll know what was done and anything to keep an eye on.
What you get
What's included, and what isn't
- A tune-up can include, depending on your vehicle: spark plugs, ignition parts, air and fuel filters, and a check of belts, hoses and fluids.
- Not included: repairs we find along the way. We'll explain and quote those, and you decide.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
- Do newer cars still need tune-ups?
- Less often than older ones, but spark plugs and filters still wear. Your owner's manual and the engine's condition tell us what's due.
- How often should I get a tune-up?
- It varies by vehicle. Many modern spark plugs last a long time, but check your manual or ask us.
- Will a tune-up fix my check engine light?
- Sometimes, if the cause is a worn ignition part. If the light is on, diagnostics may be the better first step.
- How long does it take?
- Usually the same day. We'll give you a time when you book.
