Car A/C & Cooling System Service in Las Vegas
In a Las Vegas summer, a working A/C isn't a luxury, and an engine that runs hot can leave you stuck on the side of the road. We check what's behind the warm air or the climbing temperature gauge and explain your options, from a recharge to a repair.

The service
What A/C and cooling service covers
Your A/C keeps the cabin cool. Your cooling system keeps the engine from overheating. They share some parts and both work hardest in the desert heat, so we look at them together when it makes sense.
When to come in
Signs you need A/C or cooling service
- The A/C blows warm, or only cools while you're driving
- Airflow is weak, or there's a musty smell from the vents
- You hear a new noise when the A/C kicks on
- Your temperature gauge climbs higher than usual
- Coolant on the ground, or a sweet smell after driving
- Steam from under the hood
Our checks
What we check

- Refrigerant level and signs of a leak
- The compressor, condenser and cooling fans
- Radiator, hoses, coolant level and condition
- Belts and the water pump area for leaks or wear
Process
How a visit works
- 1
Book a time. Call (702) 737-8381. Appointments are recommended.
- 2
Tell us what you've noticed. The more detail, the faster we get to the cause.
- 3
We inspect and explain. You'll hear what we found, what it means and what it will take.
- 4
You approve the work. Nothing gets repaired until you say yes.
- 5
We finish and walk you through it. You'll know what was done and anything to keep an eye on.
What you get
What's included, and what isn't
- Included: an A/C or cooling check and a clear explanation of what's wrong.
- Service can include, depending on what we find: an A/C recharge, leak checks, coolant service, and replacing hoses, belts or failed parts. A recharge is only a fix if the system holds the charge, so we'll tell you honestly whether a leak needs repairing first. Every repair is quoted before we start.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
- Can you just recharge my A/C?
- Often, yes. If the system has a leak, a recharge may only last a short time, and we'll explain that and your options so you can decide.
- Why does my A/C only work when I'm driving?
- It can point to the cooling fans, the refrigerant level or the compressor. Testing tells us which.
- Is it safe to drive if my car is overheating?
- No. Pull over when it's safe and turn the engine off. Driving while it's overheating can seriously damage the engine. Call us and we'll talk you through the next step.
- How often should I service my cooling system?
- Check your owner's manual for the coolant interval. In Las Vegas heat, it's worth having hoses and coolant looked at before summer.
- My A/C smells musty. Is that a problem?
- It's often moisture or a dirty cabin air filter. A filter change can help, and we'll check for anything more.
